TOWTAB TALES

A Tale of Two TowTabs: And much, much more!

In setting up our website in spring 2008, we thought we should leave a section for the occasional letter or note from users who might want to share their stories and the many uses they find for their TowTabs. Much to our surprise, we were quickly inundated with more than a couple of stories — they roll in on a regular basis and we publish a cross-section to share with our fellow TowTab enthusiasts.

We also have a section for TowTab videos. If you have a story or anecdote involving TowTabs, e-mail it to towtabtales@bodybumps.com

Sometime later this year, we’re contemplating awarding a TowTab gift pack for the Best TowTab Anecdote — print and video. So keep your comments and tales coming, we read and watch them all!

A Cold Winters Tale
I first heard of your product in the summer of 2009. I have given donations to a group called Youth for Christ, Streetlight Ministry "Operation Backpack" that looks after homeless people on the streets of downtown Calgary, Alberta. Last year we had a major snow storm and it was feared no one would show up for the dinner. The Calgary Fire Department has helped Streetlight cook the dinner and hand out the backpacks. It was an eerie site to see over 600 people coming despite the intensity of the storm to gather for dinner and have to eat it outside. For December 4/09 I packed TowTabs in a backpack which will be given out. As I write this the blizzard is due at 4:30 a.m. the morning of December 4/09. Living on the street is a harsh existence. I was so grateful to have Towtabs to put in the pack. If you would like to see the good work that is done by this group please go to www.yfccalgary.org/pop-ups/streetlight/operation_backpack.html
